Greetings, I’ve been meaning to do this post for awhile as a sort of author’s state of the union.
First, I’m suspending production of all paperbacks, so only the ebooks and audiobooks will be available going forward. I’ll be honest, paperbacks based on my works have never sold well. Not only that but the price for you the customer I feel is too high (especially when you add the shipping costs to that order). I write very pulpy books, and in that spirit, pulps should be cheap! ebooks are the most cost effective way to get these stories out into the world. So for now no more paperbacks going forward. The ones that have already been published via Kindle Direct Publishing and Lulu.com will remain on those respective platforms.
Maybe in the future, I will consider doing a collection of the shorter novels and publish them together as a paperback if there is a demand for such a thing.
In the spirit of doing thing on the cheap, I’m instituting a new policy (which may very well bite me in the ass) if you want one of my books, contact me and I will send you a free pdf copy, no questions asked. Just make you tell me in the subject line which book you want.
As I have mostly cut ties with both Amazon and Smashwords (for reasons that would be too long to put in this newsletter), my books are now available on the Google Play store or on our payhip store.
The Vile Hunger stories also have their own payhip store. So, if you have a dirty mind, I hope you will check those out too. The first book in series is currently available to download for free on that site.
End of Dispatch.
